Description
The bike tour starts in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, the nerve center of the city. We will get on the bikes and pedal through the medieval center, one of the best preserved in the north of the Iberian Peninsula.
We will walk through the main streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz passing in front of such emblematic buildings as the Palace of Bendaña, which houses the Fournier Museum of Cards, or the Plaza de la Burullería that will take us to the Vitoria of the fifteenth century.
We will also stop in front of st. Mary’s Cathedral, better known as the Old Cathedral, and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where writers such as Ken Follet and Paulo Coelho have been inspired.
We will advance towards the park of Arriaga to the north of the city and return again to the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca by Gasteiz Avenue (a street that has been reinvented in recent years).
