We invented Guiartu because it didn’t exist. We traveled, discovered new places and did sightseeing. We got to China and along the way we learned how important it is for someone to teach you to feel the places as their own.

I am Arturo Martínez, Vitorian, technician in Tourism and Geographer. I am devoted to this city that has seen me grow and that has made it possible to awaken many of my dreams.
From a very young age I am curious about the environment around us and you can say that he was a bad-seated child. My concerns led me, even before adolescence to dream of “impossible travel.”
Gradually many of them became a reality and years later I fulfilled my dream of reaching a distant country by bike. I covered most of the distance between Vitoria-Gasteiz and Beijing (China) in this means of transport which for me is simply my passion.
I continue to travel the world often accompanied by my friend “the bicycle” but always ended up returning to Vitoria-Gasteiz. Over time I have shaped my profile and end up forming GUIARTU with the idea of showing visitors this place as I would like them to do with me when I venture into other destinations. A close treatment, staff where tourists wish to become travelers. Where the protagonist is the place you visit. I want to make your stay in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava or the Basque Country something that you remember not only in photographs.
